人物为OC主设，以此画感谢这大学四年里帮助过我的所有人与物，伸出来的手代表我的大学朋友，包括我的毕业导师，真的很感谢她们一路上对我的鼓励与帮助，我永远不会忘记；CD机代表救赎我的音乐，书代表着4年里我读过的无数震撼心灵的文学作品（画中的是《蝲蛄吟唱的地方》）；猫代表我自家的小宠物顿顿，他的出现治愈了我，也使我的心变得更阳光了；而向日葵的花语是象征一直不停追逐梦想的坚定信念。所有的元素，打破了我因为梦想触礁而内心悲观的牢笼，让我看到了生命的美好与感动。
此外，画的灵感还来自Phoebe Bridgers的歌曲Sidelines。
