解剖报告/分解图例凭借超高的脑容量，蠌魇拥有近乎等同于人类的智慧。头部两侧的长耳与特异化蝠翼状耳廓能够想雷达一般感知周围120m范围内所有生物体的思维意识。这些体外意识将沿直接中枢神经的意识传导纤维传达入脑，使蠌魇得以通过分析判断范围内生物体的状态以及敌我关系。
头部超长的角状磁场感受器能够在蠌魇敢到自己威胁时通过耳廓收集到的敌对意识信息进行精神攻击，通过修改敌对生物的意识，使敌其陷入不可逆的极为严重的精神错乱。
