特征：六翼四爪。全身覆甲。色若朝霞。
目前已知信息：与赤朝属大部分颻类有着相似的习性。曦颻具有一定的攻击性曾有过伤人记录，难以驯服。

习性：由于霞颻长有能够攀附岩壁的翼爪，赤朝属曦颻常选择日出时分迎着赤红的朝霞与晨风外出觅食，也正是因为这一特殊的习性和朝霞一样色泽的鳞甲而得名。（信息过少，资料尚缺）。
