漫画接龙的灵感来自 Gartic Phone 的「动画」游戏模式，作画者只能看到上一帧动画的画面。而漫画接龙则是作画者只能看到上一棒格子的画面，下一棒需要根据上一棒绘制。主题不限，风格不限。同时最后一棒可以查看全篇漫画，并为其绘制一个结局。
