外觀就像長了翅膀與柔軟毛髮的暴龍，身上有著不規則的豹斑，體型卻如同山雀般嬌小。
動作敏捷，以昆蟲為主食。
性喜太陽，陽光出現時會使用體色較深的背部面向太陽的位置，沉浸在陽光的沐浴下。
因此又被稱做「向陽龍」。
